South Coast Fire Sprinklers were contacted by a repeat client to design, supply, install and commission a BS 9251 residential sprinkler system to an old bunker to comply with The Building Regulations Fire Safety Approved Document B to help with the access issues for firefighting.
We worked closely with the client to ensure that the fire sprinkler systems was designed to meet all of the requirements of Approved Document B. Once building control had approved our proposal, we then carried out the installation to the bunker.
All pipe work was run surface in mapress pipe, reliable pendant fire sprinklers were installed, the fire sprinkler system was supplied by an underground water and an AquaGuard fire pump kit.
