The fire sprinkler system brief
The South Coast Fire Sprinklers team was contacted by BCP Council to design, supply, install and commission a BS 9251 Category 2 fire sprinkler system for two new build dwellings for vulnerable people.
Installing the system
We worked closely with BCP Council to ensure that the fire sprinkler system was designed to meet all of the requirements of BS 9251. Once this had been approved, we then carried out the installation. A total of 13 fire sprinkler heads were installed to cover all areas of the dwellings.
The result
We enjoyed working closely with BCP Council, who were pleased with the system we installed. The fire sprinkler system consists of an AquaGuard fire pump set, and a water storage tank that holds enough water for the sprinklers to operate for a thirty-minute period for each property.
