Accreditations

PartB accreditation provides assurance that all design and installation work complies with BS 9251:2021 and meets the requirements of the Building Regulations Approved Document B. It ensures your fire sprinkler system is installed by a fully qualified and independently verified contractor, giving confidence to clients, building control officers, and insurers.

Building Regulations specify that fire sprinkler systems must be installed by a third-party accredited company such as those certified through PartB. Without third-party accreditation, your building control officer may refuse certification under Section 0.14 of Approved Document B.

South Coast Fire Sprinklers has been independently audited by PartB to confirm our competence in:

Upon completion, we supply full PartB certification and documentation confirming that your system meets BS 9251:2021 and Part B of the Building Regulations. This provides the necessary evidence for compliance and sign-off by local authorities or building control officers.

RSA (Residential Sprinkler Association) provide support to the Residential sector of the UK Fire Sprinkler Industry.

It provides its members with training, accreditation, technical representation, and advice and information for designing and installing companies.
